This policy explains what Convers Lab Inc. collects when you use the SmartMembers website or plugin, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

1. What the plugin collects

Nothing is sent to us by default. SmartMembers runs entirely on your own WordPress installation, and your members' records stay in your database.

Licence activation sends your site URL and licence key to our servers so we can validate the licence and serve updates. No member data is included.

2. What this website collects

We collect standard analytics — pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, and device type — to understand which parts of the site are useful.

If you submit a form or start a purchase, we collect the details you enter in order to respond, deliver the licence, and meet our tax obligations.

3. Cookies

We use cookies for essential site function and for analytics. The notice on the site explains this and links back here.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Essential cookies are required for checkout to work.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors needed to run the business — payment providers, email delivery, and analytics — each under contract.

We disclose data to authorities only when legally required.

5. Retention and your rights

Purchase records are retained for as long as tax law requires. Marketing contact details are retained until you unsubscribe.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@wpsmartmembers.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Your members' data

For data your own members give you, you are the controller and we are not involved — that data never reaches our infrastructure.

This means your obligations to your members under GDPR or similar laws are yours to meet, and the plugin gives you the export and erase tools to do it.
